But, that’s what I believe about the Bible.

While it’s a volume of different works, they all hang together to tell a single integrated story.  That’s because while 39 individuals held the pen (quill?), one Author guided them all.

Back in 2014, I led a study at my church where in 9 sessions, I walked all the way through the Bible. Essentially I divided the entire bible into 9 sections and laid out how they contributed to the the story of the greater message.  The shortest section was 3 chapters; the longest covered 22 complete books!

Over the next few months I want to share that information with you via an every-other-week series of emails.

This may be the first time you’ve ever seen how Genesis relates to Proverbs, Matthew and the book of Revelation.

It’s actually pretty cool.  I have friends who were in that study that still talk to me about how impactful the section on Acts was for them.  #memorable

I plan to start all of this next week.  So get ready.  I bet you’ll learn something with every email.

A little housekeeping before we start…

I now have over a thousand people on my mailing list.  I’d like to do a lot more with this list, cool communication and education for the most part.  It’s about time that I put together a privacy policy to let you know how I’m protecting your information (spoiler alert – I won’t ever sell it!).  Especially since so many of my readers are overseas, they are subject to very specific rights that I want to honor.

I’ve put together a Privacy Page.  If you want to know how I’m managing privacy and protecting your data you can click through and check it out.

If this privacy policy isn’t to your liking (it’s very standard for websites), or this upcoming set of emails isn’t your cup of tea, you can always   I’ll be sad to see you go, but I’d rather than than sending you emails you always ignore or delete.

One last thing!

Before I launch into the 9 email Bible overview, where do you think you are on the Bible Knowledge spectrum?  Click REPLY and send me a note with one of the following options:

  • Just starting out
  • I know the big pieces
  • This will be a nice review
  • I could probably write the emails myself

There’s no right or wrong answer.  But it will help me as I craft the emails so that I can hit the right tone.

Thanks!

Until next time,

Dennis
