Today is that day!

I Will Sing of My Redeemer hit the bookstores this weekend.

The great hymns of our faith draw our attention to the most important spiritual truths in the Bible:

  • The glory and majesty of God (How Great Thou Art, Like A River Glorious)
  • Where to run when life turns against us (A Mighty Fortress Is Our God, Rock of Ages)
  • The centrality of Jesus’ sacrifice (The Old Rugged Cross, Alas and Did My Savior Bleed?)
  • How to praise God (O For A Thousand Tongues To Sing, All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name)
  • The path of discipleship (Trust and Obey, Take Time to be Holy)
  • and many more…

I Will Sing of My Redeemer brings inspiring devotionals from 52 of the greatest hymns of the faith.  If you’re looking for a way to get back to spiritual basics, but want a fun and fresh way to engage, this book will sweep you away.

Think about where your life would be if you spent 52 consecutive days dwelling on the truth of the gospel  Or spent an entire year considering a great song all week long and returning over and over again to grace and love revealed.

This book was really emotional to write.  I sang these songs growing up.  They touch a soft spot in my heart.  Just remembering the familiar tunes and the words that seemed like they were engraved on my memory was a wonderful experience.  I’m betting you’ll be moved too!

If your life would benefit from this kind of inspiration, I encourage you to get the book and start right away.  It’s available today on Amazon, both ebook and paperback.  Apple, Kobo and Barnes & Noble are coming soon.

I have to say that I can can’t remember being more excited about a book release.  I started writing this book back in January.  One hymn per day.  It took through May to get all 52 hymns written. For the last several months, I’ve been editing it since then and working to get the formatting right so it looks beautiful.

I’m working on some more books as well. I’ll let you know when the next one is ready.  But I really do encourage you to get I Will Sing of My Redeemer.  In our topsy-turvey world, it grounds us in the truth about God.

God bless you this weekend.
