Do you like to pray? Do you think you do a good job praying?
The Bible says “Pray without ceasing.” But according to a Pew Research study, only 44% of Americans say they pray every day.
Prayer is hard. I get it. It’s not my spiritual gift, either. And if I polled my circle of Christian friends, most would say they are unhappy with the quantity and/or quality of their prayer.
I would love to hear what you’re wrestling with in your prayer life.
I get distracted easily while praying.
I don’t know what to say when I pray.
I feel like my prayers are too repetitive.
I struggle to make prayer a consistent habit.
I don’t feel worthy to speak to God.
I don’t think my prayers make any difference.
My mind wanders or I fall asleep.
I worry that I’m not doing it right.
God seems too far away from me.
I don’t have any issues praying.
One More Question…
What’s your story?
In your own words, how to you feel about praye?

Thank you for sharing.
Prayer is a common struggle for Christians. You are not alone.
I’m working on a class on prayer for my church. I am curious about how real believers feel about their prayer life. This will help me “dial in” the lesson plan.
Thanks for helping out!
Dennis
