In the United States, it’s Thanksgiving today – a holiday of gastronomical proportions. I imagine that people all round the world look on and shake their heads.

I’ll be smoking a turkey for a good part of the day today, leading up to an early afternoon meal with family.  That’s what’s really special to me.  I am thankful for the people in my life.

Thanksgiving isn’t an American phenomenon.  As Christians, we are commanded to be a thankful people.  We have more to be thankful than anyone else – the gospel is the greatest gift of all time and we’re undeserving recipients.

So for each day between today and Christmas, here’s a verse of thanksgiving to remind your heart what it has to be thankful for…

Allow thanksgiving to be your daily devotion for the next 31 days. Save this email and let this orchestra of thanksgiving lead you into celebration of the Savior’s birth.

What are you thankful for? Reply and drop me a little Thanksgiving Shout-out.

That’s it for today.  Tomorrow I’ll be back as the Six Easy Steps Bible Study Bundle sale opens up for 4 days.

With Thanksgiving,

Dennis
