Of course, this is because I’ve just published my fifth book:  Faith & Miracles: Unleash the Power of God in Your Life.

Last June, a Study the Bible: Six Easy Steps reader sent me an email asking if I would write a small group study guide for women.  That was a great suggestion. (Thanks, Frances!)

As I started studying miracles I was amazed how faith played such a powerful role in God’s interactions with His people.  Each miracle seemed uniquely designed to emphasize or build faith.  I’d never seen this before in any of my previous Bible studies.

Faith & Miracles explores 10 miracles.  It digs into the story and what was going on in the life of the people who needed a miracle to happen.  Out of their circumstances, faith emerges.

Each miracle story also has a set of questions for small groups to discuss.  These questions zero in on faith in your own life.  If you’re not in a small group, these questions are equally good for journaling or answering on your own.

The book launched on Thursday.  Yesterday I ran my first promotion and it sold 10 copies.  Not burning up the charts, exactly, but Amazon did give me the #1 New Release in Christian Devotionals badge this morning!

If you’d like to explore and develop your own faith, you can get a copy of the book on all the major retailers (Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Kobo) at this link.

If you don’t think this book is for you, no sweat.  Would you do something else for me?  Would you click through to one of the stores and look at the sales page and give me some feedback?

  • Do you like the cover?
  • Is the way that I present the book compelling, or sort of “Meh”?
  • Is there something that you expected on that page that I didn’t do or say?

I’m interested in critical feedback, not fishing for compliments.  This is part of the job of self-publishing these days.  Crafting a great book page is part of the package.  While I think I’ve done a good job, I’m not the person who needs to be pleased.  You are.

In other news…

I’m working on some really great projects now.  I can’t quite share the details yet, but I promise that soon you’ll hear from me.  The fastest way to get updates is to like my Facebook page – I share what’s going on there before anywhere else.

Study the Bible: Six Easy Steps crossed over the 1,000 copies sold mark this spring!  That was my 1 year goal for the book.  I hit it an entire quarter early.  I’m excited about that. It’s an honor to have been invited into the lives of more than a thousand people.  I’m confident that God has used the book powerfully to impact people.  I’m sure I’ll never know all the results here on Earth.  Maybe when I get to heaven, I’ll hear some stories.

If you’ve read this far, thanks for hanging in there with me.  Don’t forget to check out the new book and get your copy  It’s priced at $1.99 for the launch week, then I’ll probably bump it up to $2.99 or $3.99.  If you don’t pick up a copy, that’s fine.  Let me know what you think of the cover and description.

Until next time,

God Bless
